Viva Voce is an integral part of Practical Examination in Physics. The examiner asks several questions to the student with an aim to find out the genuineness of the record he /she has submitted and to check the student's understanding of the subject.
The Viva Voce generally starts with the questions about the experiments and activities allotted to you during the test. Be sure to tell the complete aim of the experiment or activity instead of just telling the name of the apparatus or phenomenon under study. Confidence should shine on your face. The next set of questions will generally depend on your answers to the first set of questions. If you answer well, more deep questions based on understanding and application will come. Don't worry. try to answer the questions with what you understand. But, if you don't know the answer at all, be honest and frank to politely tell the examiner that you don't know. (I will be updating this blog with more useful tips as well as some other posts with transcript of actual viva sessions.)
This network is started with the intention of providing the students a platform for learning online with direct contact with teachers and peers online. The site is intended to be environment friendly as students can submit assignments online and the teachers can view and evaluate them online. This is just a beginning and we have to go a long way forward in making the site more useful Your suggestions for improvement are always welcome.
