AdMob acquired by Google Inc

Google has confirmed the acquisition of admob for $750 million. AdMob is an advertising platform for Mobile Websites. The advertisers and Publishers are benefited by the program. It is expected that AdMob will grow like Adsense, the network of ads for regular websites, enabling publishers to make money by allowing google to display ads on their websites. Originally AdMob was displaying textual and Image ads only on mobile websites. But in the hands of Google, it will get a big boost since Google will be mainly targetting the searches. Since Google is a giant of the Search Engine industry, and more and more people turning to use mobile phones / smartphones for searching the net, Admob is all set for an increased number of customers – both advertisers as well as publishers.
